Republicans and even some Democrats are out to scare you about Medicare for All. They say it’s going to dismantle health care as we know it and it will cost way too much.
Rubbish.
If you’re a typical American, you’re already paying far more for health insurance than people in any other advanced country.
And you’re not getting your money’s worth.

It is rumored that some of you had difficult conversations during Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Although there are certainly many sources for polarized conversations extant today, from our perspective one of the most important is the declining support for the single payer Medicare for All proposal. Failure to move forward with that model of reform will result in greater financial hardship, physical suffering and even death.
In a five minute video, Robert Reich explains in very clear terms why that model of Medicare for All is an imperative. The link also includes a transcript of the video, though the video itself communicates the message more effectively. The video should be shared with those who are confused or even flat out wrong about Medicare for All and also shared with others who are struggling to educate the general population on the topic. Health reform activists should find this to be a great vehicle for spreading the gospel on health care justice for all.
